Dr Zora Hesová: The Problems Associated with Islamic Migration Are Less Serious than They Seemed a Few Years Ago. “No-Go Zones” Are a Myth
The Muslim community in Europe accounts for just six per cent of the population, yet migration and Islam have become a convenient political bogeyman. In an Interview Plus programme on Český rozhlas Plus, Arabist and political scientist analysed why fears of Islamisation or the existence of alleged “no-go zones” are nothing more than a myth.

According to her, the situation in Europe has been stabilising over the long term, and immigrants have successfully adapted to local society over the course of several generations. The full interview provides a deeper insight into how politicians use the issue of migration as a proxy symbol for deeper social problems.
