Prof. Mgr. Ing. Petr Kratochvíl, Ph.D.
He studied theology of Christian traditions at the Ecumenical Institute of the Protestant Theological Faculty at Charles University, international relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, and international political relations at Prague University of Economics and Business. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2011 and Professor in 2016. Prof. Kratochvíl has extensive experience in senior positions at academic institutions. He served as the Director of the Institute of International Relations Prague and also chaired the Academic Council of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. He is a member of the Trans-European Policy Studies Association Board, the Academic Directorate of the German Europeum Institute for European Policy, and regularly collaborates with the world’s leading universities, such as Sciences Po, Cambridge, Oxford, La Sapienza, and others.
